ICARUS Reader

It is really good to have the Google Play Store, I can install all the Apps I need, like Chrome, Dropbox...etc. This is the best E-Reader you can get if you would like to browse the web and put whatever reading apps you want, like Kindle or Kobo...etc. I like this reader so much. The only reason I didn't rate Excellent is the battery life only last few days, but that is not a big issue for me.

Very good, ordered on tuesday and received on thursday.

Lieferung mit FedEx nach Schweden. Kleine Schwierigkeit beim Ausliefern, dieses ließ sich jedoch mit einem kurzen Anruf klären. Sehr guter Service sonst von Fedex.

El lector básico original es el FBReader pero una versión un tanto antigua y no se deja actualizar.
Tamaño ideal.
Uso el lector Moonreader que se deja configurar muy bien y con multitud de opciones.
También tengo instalado el Kindle pero solo lo uso si compro libros Amazon.
Tengo instalado File Komander para gestión de archivos, Mail, Chrome, Calendario, etc.
Sería excelente si el lector FB original estuviera actualizado ya que es muy bueno.
El diccionario funciona bien pero tiene truco ya que no se ofrece un diccionario Español en ningún sitio, pero si existe en algún foro.

Ich habe das Icarus Illumina XL HD Skoobe-Sonderedition zwar erst seit vorgestern in Betrieb, aber ich bin schon jetzt begeistert, es liegt gut in der Hand, macht keine schwarzen Streifen beim Umblättern und ist aufgrund seiner Größe auch online leicht zu bedienen. Das Lesen macht wirklich Spaß darauf. Wenn jetzt auch noch die Akku-Leistung so ist wie versprochen, ist alles perfekt.

the device was great initially, but the screen stopped working. i only used it for about 8-10 hours before this happened. contact the manufacturer through the support site's ticketing system has been a dead end. going to try email now.

While I was reading a book I added from my Kindle reader, the pages skipped almost to the end of the book. I couldn't get it back without a good deal of effort and time. Additionally, I find it difficult to add books. I'm not really happy with this reader. It looks great, and the books that are already on it read well. Had I known about my experience with this reader, I would never have purchased it.

The tablet worked very well for a week or so, then the touch screen started to not work down the left side. Returned to Eindhoven for warranty repair, but it has been in Eindhoven for almost a week and still not made it into the workshop as there is no one there to collect it (according to tracking). At time of writing this I am not feeling happy as this brilliant product has not worked for me.

Excellent

This eBook reader works excellent using a online service as Mofibo.dk for eBooks. It is running a very early Android version 4.2.2 which I think is not particular safe and this is my only negative comment and makes this reader only "Good". Else it is "Excellent". The refresh rate is fine and the screen has the right size for reading and the background light makes it possible to read during night time.

Reader is very handy and performs as expected. The inbuilt reader app is not capable of handling calibre tags (collections), so this is kind of a letdown. So far, the PocketBook app from Google Play serves my needs best (excellent e.g. for browsing through PDFs containing scanned pages; need to increase icon size before it becomes useful). I'd buy the reader again, however I'd urge the producer to add calibre tag handling, since most people will buy this because they want to avoid vendor-lock-in products.
